Causes to Root For

Causes to Root For is the official newsletter of Root Causes, designed to bring our community closer, celebrate our shared work, and shine a light on the people and programs that make everything we do possible.

 

Over the years, Root Causes has grown from a handful of passionate volunteers into a vibrant, interconnected network of students, clinicians, partner organizations, and community members. Our programs have grown and multiplied and our community has become more engaged than ever, and we could not be more excited and humbled to lead among such a wonderful and inspiring group of individuals brought together in this organization.

 

With so much happening across Root Causes and its seven subprograms, we hope this newsletter creates a recurring space where all of those stories can live together and be shared with the community that makes this all possible.

 

The idea for this newsletter took shape during an evening with our leadership team, all gathered together, tossing around ideas with the kind of energy and joy that reminds us why this work matters.The name Causes to Root For was born out of the same discussion — suggested by Healthy Harvest graduate student leader Paola Ramos — it perfectly captured the vision of this newsletter.
